3D Dodgeball Recap - Tuesday, January 26

Dodge duck dip dive and dodge.....and jump? The first night of 3D Dodgeball kicked off tonight at Sky Zone, with players ready to tackle competitive dodgeball on a trampoline.

After a slew of forfeits, SAE and TKE battled it out for the first game of the season.

SAE was short one player, but it did not stop them from bringing their best game, with a quick win in the first match. With solid catches and dodges, TKE put up a good match in the second game. However , at the end of the second game it was down to Eric Osterman and Andrew Schmidt of TKE who were both taken out with quick throws from SAE's Adam Adler. With TKE down 2-0, they had to fight to stay in it, and they did winning the third game by playing offensively as quick as possible, knocking out SAE one by one within the first minute. SAE and TKE both fought hard in the fourth game, leaving it down to SAE's Adam Adler and TKE's Craig Witt. With one final blow, Adler took out Witt, clinching the win for SAE with a final score of 3-1.

Sigma Alpha Epsilon 3 - Zeta Beta Tau 0

SAE was back in the game playing against ZBT after their win over TKE, and the first game proved they still had the drive to win. In the last minute of the first game, it was down to Mike Roers of ZBT to eliminate three players from SAE. He was able to get out Adam Adler, but was hit shortly after by a throw from SAE's Anthony Hernandez. It was down to two players on each team during the second game, but SAE was once again able to take out the remaining ZBT's. SAE proved that they were dominant tonight, as they were up 5-2 in the third game and quickly took out ZBT's Eric Williams and Jake Houser to secure another win with a final score of 3-0.

Pi Kappa Alpha 3 - Argent 0

Pi Kappa Alpha played strong tonight against Team Argent, winning three matches consecutively. With swift throws by Brian Downing and consecutive catches from his teammates, Pike was able to eliminate Argent with ease in the first game. Pike was up 4-1 in the second game, with Argent's Daniel Espejo fighting to get another teammate back in. However, Ben Green took out Espejo and won the second game for Pike. The third game was a more intense match, as it was 1-1 and down to Argent's Espejo and Pike's Erik McKay. After several attempted throws from each player, McKay ended the game by hitting Espejo, giving Pike best out of five matches, a final score of 3-0.
